CAD for Wheel

Although it was difficult to approximate measurements without having actual robot, I did my best working with images off amazon. Unfortunately none of these images showed the backside of the wheel so I imagined what it would look like, hopefully the wheel will work with the rest of the assembly. I revolved a sketch to create the main body of the wheel. Using the extruded cut feature and creating a circular pattern I was able to put spokes on the wheel. We weren’t using Solidworks all of last semester so it was very enjoyable to get back to working on CAD, hopefully we will have more projects like this.
